They  works to offer us images from across the world. This art  catches society’s imagination, and the one  who captures it and puts it on display . Without the input of a dedicated photographer, the images and art we love  would be nothing. 

So its always important to pay  tribute to photographers by  give them credit .Different type of photographers are

History of National Photography Day. August 19

The importance of World Photography Day is

•  "to create awareness"
•  "share ideas"  
• "encourage individuals in this Photography field. So the day  allows people to honor the art of photography.

 The origins of the day lie in the invention of the Daguerreotype in1837 , this was a photographic process developed by Frenchmen Lois Daguerre and Joseph Nicephorus Niepce .

Mixed media describes the artwork in which more than one medium art material is used, materials used are cloth, paper, wood, shell & 'cause paints or dyes.

Visions Art Exhibition by American Women's Association in Bahrain, Kausar Iqbal exhibited her paintings on silk & acrylic on canvas.

what are the visions of AWA?
 The AWA has been serving the people of Bahrain with its community outreach, charity work, donations & other activities such as Visions, for the last 45 years.

In visions exhibitions, all the artists of AWA members exhibit their artwork & sell the pieces where a certain amount goes to the charities. The artists donate their time &  art for the exhibition. A lot of dedication is required by each participating artist. Mostly its exhibited at the financial harbor" Harbour Gate".

I am proud to be a member of this organization as the proceeds of the Visions Art exhibition will go a long way in supporting the charitable of the AWA.
